Benjamin "Mecca" Perkins was born in Safford Arizona. He discovered his love for music during high school. He found inspiration by following the music of Eminem, D12, Busta Rhymes, Tech N9ne and TI. Mecca hit a rough patch which led him astray from his passion for music. He discovered he had cancer which brought forth a drug addiction to

cope. He found the strength to fight back. Now in his 7th year of remission, “Mecca” has returned more motivated than ever bringing his love for music to an all-time high. Using his life experiences as a tool, Mecca hopes to help those in need of insight. Mecca’s hard work and dedication have lead him to become part of "Sik Ville" and "The Ogden Illumni Chapter" giving him the support to continue his passion for music.
